Kristiana Reed is an English teacher and writer. She mainly writes and shares poetry on this blog, however, it is also a home for her book reviews, prose and Dee Diary posts.
Reed has written since she can remember; beginning with a selection of short stories about a dog and a cat with superpowers, written for her younger brother. Poetry has always been her first love but she is attempting to slowly write a novel. The novel in progress is called Dee and is a fictional exploration of living with depression, as if depression were a person. The Dee Diaries series on this blog documents her experience writing and her own personal experience with depression and anxiety.
Reed is also an avid reader and reviewer. She reviews for Reedsy Discovery, Amazon Vine and accepts individual requests (please see her contact information if you wish to request a review).
Reed has released two poetry collections, Between the Trees and Flowers on the Wall, with the latter being her most recent. Both are available to buy below:

You have a lovely blog! And I’m quite intrigued that you’re writing about Depression as a person, “Dee”–since I battle it/her. I’d be interested in reading your completed book.
