Sew me a sail

If you turned everything you read

into thread, and sewed a sail,

would it unfurl with holes

or billow in the wind?

Would it carry you someplace new

or catch the same drift

and spin you in circles until you were green;

sick with more than the sea?

    Oh… I adore the concept of having, words read, turned into thread, and then sewn into a sail….I’m no seamstress Kristiana, but my mum was an excellent sewing lady, and her sail would
    billow in the wind for me….
