I believe this to be my redemption;
summer sun and daisy yellow,
buttercup chin
and a hopeful tomorrow.
The breeze sings soft,
the trees keep in time
waltzing like the wheat,
the pillowcases hanging out
on the line.
Buds bloom like friendly hands
and stretch upward
meeting the endless blue sky
and I wait.
I wait for time to begin,
for sharp nails
to pinch my skin,
to pull me, hastily,
back to bury my feet
in the damp earth.
But, it never comes.
I float, onwards
and away
from yesterday
into a world smelling
of forgiveness and truth.

Great you can move on
found redemption and truth
now you feel a lot better
your soul in a state of sooth.
Everything gains meaning
once you let the past behind
cause with happiness & joy
you are now better aligned.
