I was thinking of you today,
about the wheat-field behind
your house and your obsession
with the way sunlight falls
from the palms of Olympus
to paint the vast distance
in gold.
I want you to remember this,
cherish it and never
sell it on for a dream
which arrives nestled
in a pipe.
Hold on – to the love, to the light,
to the skyline’s gold
and never let go
of all which keeps you bold.

So lovely and delicate! I loved this image of gold light falling on wheat. It’s really an image to keep.
