A case of the nightmares

Lately, I’ve been suffering

with a case of the nightmares.

Symptoms include:

loved ones

falling

in and out of love,

saying goodbye

to everything,

and trust.

Causes unknown

unless the myths about

cheese and TV before bed

are true; even still,

I’m not sure why

they always have to be

about you

and the fact the darkness

stirring within my pillow

always convinces me,

you are beautiful.
