This was wonderful to read, Kristiana. Lovely to find out a little more about you. At school, my favourite teachers were my English teachers and I smiled when I read the name Wilfred Owen, because I haven’t heard of him since I did my O’Level English in 1980 or so. You are a great writer and I’m so glad that you chose to write here. Good luck with everything. x

Aw thank you so much 💛 I’m glad Owen manages to bring a smile to someone’s face! Kidding, he is often a favourite with the kids.

Haha…well, if I’m honest, I was more a fan of Sassoon, but I really started getting excited about poetry when my brilliant teacher (I wrote a blog around her teaching) introduced me to Sylvia Plath.
